The unique pedicure includes nail shaping, cuticle trimming, smoothing of calluses, and a relaxing leg and foot massage with an additional soothing exfoliating sugar scrub. The unique pedicure is topped with a hydrating mask with steaming hot towels for a richly relaxing experience.   • Acrylic Nails

    Acrylic nails are the most common type of nails and are often called artificial nails. They are applied with a brush dipped in liquid and powder and then shaped onto the nail. They are finished with nail polish. There is another type of acrylic nails called colour powder. This type doesn’t require nail polish, it just requires a top coat. This method will prevent the nail from losing shape. Acrylic nails are strong and durable and are best suited for those that want extra long nails.

  • Liquid Gel Nails

    Whether or not applied on your real nails or as an extension, liquid gel nails can be applied with a brush and gel. They are then cured (dried) under a UV lamp and finished with nail polish.

  • LCN Nails

    $70 for full set | $65 for fill
    LCN is a type of liquid gel nails. It is arguably the top brand of liquid gel nails and has been used in the nail industry for an extended period of time.

  • TiaraX Soft Gel

    $65 for full set | $55 for fill
    TiaraX Soft Gel Extension System is a 100% soak-off odourless soft gel nail system that instantly adds length to your natural nails without the use of acrylic or a hard gel. They are pre-shaped and applied over your entire nail bed using gel to adhere to the natural nails. You can now have long, perfectly shaped nails in half the time or even less.

  • Hybrid Gel

    This type of gel is in between acrylic and liquid gel. It’s lighter than acrylic and doesn’t require monomer (liquid). It is odourless and lasts a long duration. It also won’t harm the nail bed.

  • Dipping Powder

    $50 for natural nails | $60 for extensions
    Dip powder nails is a technique in which your nail technician will apply a layer of solution and then dip in a jar of colour powder of your choice for a few layers. The nails are finished with a liquid sealant to harden the powder before finishing with a top coat.

WAXING
Waxing is the process of hair removal. We use strip wax to effectively remove the hair from the root. We use quality and standard-approved products that are specifically formulated to prevent skin irritation to reactive skin. We use a cream-based strip wax that is formulated for sensitive and delicate skin. The wax used at Unique Nails & Spa is all-natural, a natural antioxidant, an excellent emollient, and great for all skin types. The skin is prepped with oil to protect the skin from the wax. After the waxing process is complete, we use an after-waxing oil that soothes, calms, and removes residue. The hair must be a minimum of 1/4 inch to ensure proper removal of hair.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL
Laser hair removal is a procedure that uses a concentrated beam of light (laser) to remove unwanted hair.
During laser hair removal, a laser emits light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat, which damages the tube-shaped sacs within the skin (hair follicles) that produce hairs. This damage inhibits or delays future hair growth. We have one of the newest laser hair removal machines in the market with medical upgrading. This means customers see the results in fever sessons than with more traditional laser hair removal machines.
